Uwe Wuertenberg is a co-founder and managing partner at Maravon.
Uwe also co-founded and was managing director of FACT Management Consulting, which developed the world's leading fixed income indices iBoxx and iTraxx as well as the insurance industry-leading investment control software "FIRST". Prior to founding FACT, Uwe was managing director at Metzler Consulting, and, previously, a senior advisor for corporate strategy at McKinsey & Company. Uwe started his career as a developer at Softlab.

Joerg Hoerster is a managing partner at Maravon, which he co-founded in 2007.
Prior to founding Maravon Joerg served as head strategic finance and risk advisory for banks and corporates at FACT Management Consulting; corporate and investment banker at Deutsche Bank; corporate finance advisor at Metzler Consulting; and as a Treasury and controlling officer at Daimler-Benz.
Joerg studied business management and mathematical economics and holds a bachelor-equivalent degree from Bielefeld University and a master's degree from University of Muenster. He is also lecturer of mathematical finance at Dresden University of Technology.
